    ✨Qawami Seviyan✨ Vermicelli laced with sweetne ✨Qawami Seviyan✨
Vermicelli laced with sweetness and topped with chopped mixed nuts and fresh cream (balai)

Ingredients
250 grams Vermicelli (Seviyan)
1/2 Cup Clarified Butter (Ghee)
3-4 pods Green Cardamom
4 1/4 Cups Milk
 1 Lemon (juice)
1 tsp Kewra Water (Panadanas Water)
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup slivered pistachios
1/4 cup desiccated coconut

Sugar Syrup
1 1/4 Cup Water
2 Cups Sugar
1/4 tsp Yellow food color

Instructions 

▪️In a pan add all the ingredients of sugar syrup and cook until the sugar dissolves. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes and turn off the heat 
▪️In an another heavy bottom pan add clarified butter (ghee) and pods of green cardamom, split open to begin tempering. When it gets aromatic, add vermicelli to the pan and roast it until dark brown in color. keep stirring so that they don’t burn
▪️Now add milk to the pan along with lemon juice,turn the flame to high and cook until the milk is absorbed.
▪️Add to it the prepared sugar syrup and kewra water. When it starts to bubble, turn the flame to low and cover with a lid. Cook until the milk is absorbed and vermicelli is cooked completely
▪️Take out in the serving dish, sprinkle with nuts, desiccated and decorate with silver leaf
▪️Serve warm with whipped cream or fresh cream (balai)

The material was so soft, it was so warm and the stitching was done very neatly. Got a lot of compliments wearing this at a family gathering 🥰

    ✨Salmon in creamy Mushroom & Spinach Sauce ✨⁣

This one pan recipe is best for a delicious weeknight dinner. Simple ingredients and ready in under 30 mins 🙌🏼⁣
⁣
𝐈𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬⁣
· 4 Salmon Fillets skin on (I used pre-marinated salmon from @tescoirl )⁣
· 1Tbsp Olive Oil + 2 Tbsp Butter⁣
.  1 small onion, finely chopped⁣
· 5-6 Garlic Cloves, chopped⁣
· 3/4 Cup Fresh Spinach roughly chopped⁣
·  3/4 Cup Fresh Button Mushrooms sliced⁣
·  1/2 Cup Chicken Stock/ vegetable stock⁣
·  3/4 Cup Fresh Cream⁣
.  1 Red Bell pepper, diced⁣
·  Salt, Pepper and Smoked Paprika, to taste⁣
⁣
- Heat oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add salmon, skin side up, and cook for 4-5 minutes on both sides until cooked through and skin is crispy. Set aside.⁣
- In the same pan sauté onion until translucent, add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add more oil if needed⁣
- Add mushrooms and bell pepper and cook until mushrooms are golden brown and tender. Add stock and fresh cream, season with salt, smoked paprika and pepper.⁣
- Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer until sauce is thickened, then stir in spinach and cook until wilted, 1-2 minutes.⁣
- Return the salmon back to the pan, simmer for 1-2 mins and spoon the creamy spinach and mushrooms on top. Serve hot and enjoy!⁣

Chapli kebab the name comes from Pashtu word Chaprikh meaning flat. Many call Chapli kebab the “slipper kebabs” because in urdu and other languages the word Chapal or chapli means slippers and the flat shape of the kebab is quite similar to a flat slipper.⁣
⁣
However the name reflects the process of making these kebab as the prepared kebab mixture is rolled in a smooth ball and then flattened with palm and slided into the hot pan for frying.⁣
⁣
The kebabs get their unique taste from pomegranate seeds and coriander seeds which are a great flavour enhancers. Enjoy these delightfully delicious kebabs with naan/parathas or make Chapli Kebab burgers.⁣
 ⁣
𝐓𝐨 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐥𝐢 𝐊𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐛 𝐌𝐢𝐱:⁣
· 500 gm beef mince (keema)⁣
· 2 medium onion, finely chopped (water strained completely)(Piyaz)⁣
· 2 small deseeded tomato, finely chopped (tamatar)⁣
· 3 green chilli, finely chopped (hari mirch)⁣
· 1 handful chopped coriander leaves (hara dhaniya)⁣
· 1 tablespoon ginger paste (adrak)⁣
· 1 tablespoon garlic paste (lehsun)⁣
· 1 teaspoon carom seeds, crushed (ajwain)⁣
· 1 ½ tablespoon coriander seeds, crushed (sabut dhaniya)⁣
· ½ tablespoon cumin seeds, crushed (sabut zeera)⁣
· 1 teaspoon pomegranate seeds or powder (anar dana) optional, I did not use⁣
· 2 teaspoon crushed red chilli (adjust according to taste)(kutti laal mirch)⁣
· 1 teaspoon cumin powder (zeera powder)⁣
· 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder⁣
· 1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper (kali mirch)⁣
· 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste (namak)⁣
· 1 egg⁣
· 2 tablespoon flour (maida)⁣
· salt, according to taste⁣
· ghee, for shallow frying⁣
