No Churn Peach Ice Cream with candied Peach Chunks

Summers are in full-swing, temperature has risen to an extreme in this part of the world, it’s ranging between 42°C and 46°C which is literally making people melt. While it’s scorching heat, I’m still trying to find happiness and joys in what this season has to bring. The biggest of joys being fresh fruits, Peaches and Mangoes. And to beat that heat we made No-Churn Peach Ice Cream.

We get the best fruits in our country and Peaches are one of those fruits, that is flavorful, sweet, fresh and has a very tantalizing aroma, one of my favorites. It’s so good that one of the highest-makeup brands has come up with a peaches eye shadow palette which smells like peach too (this was totally irrelevant) but you see how good peaches are?

Fresh peach ice-cream is the perfect way to cool off this summer. I had been planning to make it for sometime now, but wanted to make it with less ingredients and also without any machine. So this recipe, is the simplest and the most delicious one because: It’s a no-churn recipe (you don’t need any machine) to make it, it’s prepared with a few ingredients, it uses fresh fruit and it’s really really smooth and delicious.
This simple and delicious homemade Peach Ice-Cream screams summer, so just get the most awesome fruit of the season and prepare this delicious summer treat right-away!

Fab Grab: Mitti Pow Chai Mug

I’m an avid morning-tea drinker, mornings without chai (tea) are sad, boring and incomplete. Although I’m not a morning-breakfast person but I definitely am the morning-chai person. Which makes me a collector of fun, quirky, colorful mugs too (apparently all the ones I’m attracted to) and the moment I saw this Mitti Pow Mug it was love-at-first-sight-kind-of-attraction.

“Mitti Pow” is a desi phrase used by Punjabi people mostly, when they want to finish an argument or ask to forget something. Mitti Pow or Mitti Pao literally means Bury It.

The very moment I saw this mug, it ignited my Punjabi-ness  and I had to order it. The creative brains behind this mug is Oddpot.

Oddpot is an online shop and  maker of colorful, fun, quirky and fabulous everyday products and stationery items. They sell through their Facebook Page Here. This Mitti Pow mug is priced at Rs. 650 and they ship nationwide. To order you can simply Facebook Inbox them or email at
Every time I see this mug on my work desk, it brings an instant joy and perhaps a little motivation too, to just bury some stuff and move on to priority tasks. Today someone asked, is it your “Personal Motto?” I’ve started to feel it is! “Mitti Pow – WoW like a Ninja (HA HA)

Virgin Strawberry Mojito

Happy Monday y’all! Summers are here, temperatures are rising and rising a bit too quickly in this part of the world, but I’ve got all you covered. We’ll beat the heat in style, with a quick, refreshing and perfectly cool drink Strawberry Mojito. It’s virgin (non-alcoholic) yet so bubbly and fruity making it a perfect summer drink!

I had posted this image on my Facebook Page here a few weeks ago and had totally forgotten about posting the recipe, until a reader reminded.Yeah, that’s what rising temperatures do to you. But, I’m glad someone reminded, they’re following the blog 😀

Just a few ingredients and you have it all, Anti-oxidants from mint and strawberries and Vitamin C from lemons. It involves muddling of the ingredients, mixing it all up and start sippin’! See, in the picture how muddling the strawberries, mint leaves and sugar brings out all those juices? That’s the base for our drink.
This is the ultimate summertime drink, although there’s a classic version of Mojito with lime and mint leaves alone, but adding strawberries gives it some sweetness and of course a whole new flavor, can it get better than that? I don’t think so!
Like I said this Mojito has it all, it’s adding to your good health, helps de-stress and relax, what else do you need on a hot summer day? Oh! It makes an excellent party drink too, so impress your guests or make it for yourself, just make it and start Sippin’!
